Entomologia

Back in June Jennifer Angus wallpapered Newark Museum's Ballantine House in her beautiful Insecta Fantasia pattern. It was nice to see one of her pieces closer to home at the Observatory. It's called "Victoria Fancy":
Other pieces in the Entomologia exhibit, include Lisa Wood's dioramas. "Grasshopper Reading Book" looks like something Alice might have encountered in Wonderland:
This one made me do a double take. It's Judith Klausner's "Mantis Religiosa."
It's a fun exhibit to check out on a chilly afternoon!
