Green-Wood Cemetery after the snowstorm
Seth and I finally spotted the elusive (well, elusive to us) monk parrots which nest in the Gothic gate at the 5th Avenue entrance to Green-Wood Cemetery. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a good shot of them with my camera. Legend has it, these pretty tropical birds escaped after being shipped to JFK airport from South America back in the 1960s.
